FAQ's about Commissions
Q: Commissions
A:
My fine art exhibited pieces are sold either through galleries or directly by me. Commissions specifically produced for a client or project are based on a client's specifications and inspiration. A commission's color palette, vibe, medium, and size are customized to meet those parameters.
Q: How long do commissions take?
A:
Each painting has a different process. My studio calendar plays a part in scheduling to make sure any deadlines are met. Once we have your details worked out, we'll be able to give a timeline estimate If you need it for gift or special occasion, we will try to make it happen.
Q: Pricing for commissions
A:
Pricing is generally dictated by size and medium as well as based on established gallery pricing. Once those are determined you'll receive a price list with a range of options to choose from. Framing, if any is additional.
Q: Payment
A:
Final payment is due at the completion of artwork and prior to delivery. Deposits of 50% of agreed upon price are requested to begin a project.
Q: Forms of payments
A:
PayPal, checks, Zelle, or credit cards. Credit cards have an additional 3% service fee.
Q: Artwork delivery
A:
Large scale artwork can be delivered in the NY Metropolitan area at no additional cost unless special transportation is needed. FedEx and USPS are the usual options for longer distance deliveries at a cost covered by the client.
