ANAHI DECANIO BIO
Anahi DeCanio is an award winning multi-disciplinary artist working in a variety of media, including award winning product designs. Her work is represented by several galleries and is part of private and corporate collections in the US and internationally. Winning numerous awards in national juried competitions, she has participated extensively in group and solo exhibits.
DeCanio’s work has been featured in various publications, locally and abroad, including the NY Times, Time Magazine, Robb Report, Boca Raton News, Telemundo, The Palm Beach Post, and CBS. Her artwork has appeared in major motion pictures and TV shows and has received numerous awards, including several First-Place honors for both her art and product design. Anahi was selected as White House Fellows Featured Artist in the Fall of 2016 and was honored with a solo exhibit at the Consulate General of Uruguay in New York City. Ms. DeCanio's abstracts can also be seen on exhibit at Cate Luzio's Luminary NOMAD in New York City.
Anahi's work has been exhibited nationally and internationally in several well-respected venues including: Boca Raton Museum of Art, Brown University, Pen and Brush in NYC, Palm Beach Armory, Art Basel Miami, Coral Springs Museum, Palm Beach County Art in Public Places exhibition, Milan Film Festival, Han Van de Bovenkamp Studio Gallery, the National Steinbeck Center, Holiday House NYC, the Architectural Digest Design Show collaborating with Naula, National Art League, Guild Hall in East Hampton and Cliff Young at 200 Lex and High Point. Ms. DeCanio has been part of exhibitions and special events that have included artists Cindy Sherman, Eric Fischl, April Gornik, David Geiser, Athos Zacharias, Hans Van de Bovenkamp, the Guerrilla Girls, Pablo Atchugarry and Ignacio Iturria, among others. Anahi DeCanio's abstracts will be on exhibit at Bergdorf Goodman in NYC as part of a group exhibition organized by The Kaleidoscope Project.
DeCanio is the founder and curator of eARThHAMPTONS. Active in several art and charitable organizations, she also combines her passion for art design with her background in finance as a real estate advisor with Douglas Elliman.

Sobre Anahi DeCanio
La pintora plástica uruguaya Anahi DeCanio realizará una muestra individual de nuevas obras abstractas en la galería The Lucore Art en Montauk, Nueva York. La muestra estará instalada hasta el 16 de mayo. La recepción con la artista se dará a lugar el sábado 6 de mayo.
Las obras de Anahi han sido otorgadas varios reconocimientos y premios. Sus cuadros han ganado primer premio en exhibiciones del Boca Raton Museum of Art Artists’ Guild, Huntington Arts Council, The National Art League y Art League de Long Island, entre otros. Anahi fue seleccionada como la única artista participante para exhibir en el White House Fellows Conference en Washington DC en octubre del 2016 y una muestra en el Consulado General de la República Oriental Del Uruguay en Nueva York.
Las pinturas de Ms. DeCanio han sido expuestas en varias galerías, museos y salas de exhibición y han sido publicadas en el New York Times, Time Magazine, Palm Beach Post entre otros. Formatos digitales de pinturas y fotografías de Anahi formaron parte de películas de largometraje y programas de televisión. La película con Jennifer Aniston, We're the Millers figuró dos obras de Ms. DeCanio. Anahi participa en varias organizaciones caritativas y fue honrada como Latina Artist of the Year por el Long Island Hispanic Chamber of Commerce y El Círculo de la Hispanidad. Anahi también ha participado en los remates de obras de arte para la organización uruguaya sin fines de lucro ReachingU.
