Anahi DeCanio abstract painting was selected for High Point Market Designer Showhouse organized by the High Point Junior League and renown design publication Aspire Design and Home.
The project is particularly significant to Anahi who is a lover of architecture and preservation. As an artist and a realtor with Douglas Elliman in New York, the knowledge that this project will benefit the preservation of a historic home is a perfect fit.

The designers - who got an opportunity to design various vignettes throughout the historic Dalton-Bell Cameron House  include a who's who from the interior design world.

David Santiago of Casa Santi created an exuberant and vibrant entryway for the Showhouse. The design was a crowd favorite! Artwork included three very special mixed media pop pieces of Opera icons created by artist Ricardo Monge and abstract work in black and white with hints of gold created by artist Anahi DeCanio.

David Santiago is not only a designer, but he is a brand ambassador and a design correspondent for The Donna Drake Show Live it UP! As if that wasn't enough, he is also a tenor (performing at Carnegie Hall in January 2019!)

The entire YouTube interview is included below

The 2019 High Point Designers' Showhouse is the Dalton-Bell-Cameron House. Built in 1913, the house has survived two fires, and was slated for demolition. Today, it is being rebuilt as a true testimony of forward thinking and the power of historic preservation.
With a goal of raising $200,000, the Designers' Showhouse is the largest fundraiser for the Junior League of High Point, Inc. We are excited to host the third Designers' Showhouse for the JLHP in the "Furniture Capital of the World." This year, we have partnered with ASPIRE HOME AND DESIGN.
